Antifog Lidding Film
Antifog Lidding Film
Is condensation forming on the inside of your food packaging, obscuring the product and reducing retail shelf appeal in chilled display environments?
In chilled retail environments, condensation forms on the inside of food packaging when the temperature difference between the product and the surrounding air causes moisture to collect on the film surface. For products where visual appeal drives purchase decisions such as fresh meat, seafood, and prepared meals, internal fogging directly reduces sales by obscuring what is inside.
Antifog lidding film incorporates a surface treatment that prevents water droplets from forming on the inner film surface, keeping the view of the product clear throughout the cold chain from packing to point of sale. This maintains retail presentation without changing the sealing or barrier properties of the film.
RFA supplies antifog lidding film in a range of seal temperatures, barrier levels, and reel sizes compatible with standard tray sealing machines and retail tray formats used in Singapore's food manufacturing sector.
