The tray is the foundation of the retail food package. When the tray material is wrong for the product, the seal flange does not mate correctly with the lidding film, or the tray dimensions are incompatible with the sealing machine, the entire packaging line suffers in quality, speed, and waste.
Food trays are available in a range of materials including CPET, APET, polypropylene, and foamed polystyrene, each suited to different product categories, temperature requirements, and retail presentation formats. Tray depth, flange width, and cavity configuration are all specified to match your product and sealing equipment.
