PET & PP Strap
PET & PP Strap
Are you using the wrong strap type for your load, leading to either over-specification that wastes cost or under-specification that causes loads to shift in transit?
Choosing between polyester and polypropylene strapping comes down to load weight, transit conditions, and the strapping method being used. Using the wrong type leads to either unnecessary cost from over-specification or load failure from under-specification.
Polypropylene strapping is suited to lighter loads and short-haul transit where flexibility and cost efficiency are the priority. Polyester strapping offers higher break strength and better tension retention over longer periods, making it the preferred choice for heavier pallets, longer transit distances, and loads that may be subject to vibration or temperature changes during shipment.
RFA supplies both PET and PP straps in machine and hand grade rolls, across a range of widths and break strengths suited to manual tools, battery-powered tools, and automatic strapping machines. Volume pricing is available for regular supply requirements.
