Inconsistent hand wrapping is one of the most common causes of load instability, transit damage, and wasted film in Singapore warehouses. When wrap tension varies between operators and shifts, the results show up in damaged goods and failed loads.
Stretch wrap machines apply stretch film to palletised loads using a rotating turntable or rotating arm mechanism, delivering consistent wrap tension and overlap on every pallet. Semi-automatic models require operators to attach and cut the film manually. Fully automatic machines handle the entire cycle without operator intervention, maintaining line speed in high-volume despatch operations.
