In Singapore's humidity, low-quality packaging tape fails quickly. Adhesive loses tack, seals lift at the edges, and cartons that appeared well-sealed at packing arrive at their destination partially open. The problem is usually the tape specification, not the application method.
OPP packaging tape uses a biaxially oriented polypropylene film with an acrylic or hot-melt adhesive that maintains reliable tack in high-humidity environments. It seals cleanly on recycled and virgin carton board, tears consistently for hand application, and dispenses smoothly through standard tape guns and machine dispensers.
