In Box Cushioning
In Box Cushioning
Are products moving inside the box during transit and arriving at the customer damaged, despite being packed into correctly sized cartons?
A correctly sized carton is only half of a damage-free transit. If the product can move inside the box (even slightly) repeated impacts and vibrations during shipping will cause damage that a stronger carton cannot prevent. The cushioning inside the box is what keeps the product stationary and absorbs the shocks that occur in transit.
In-box cushioning materials work by filling the void space around the product and absorbing impact energy before it reaches the product surface. The right cushioning material depends on the product's fragility, weight, and the severity of the handling and transit conditions it will experience.
RFA supplies a range of in-box cushioning solutions including foam inserts, moulded pulp packaging, paper cushioning wrap, and air cushion systems, matched to your product profile, carton dimensions, and transit requirements.
